The success of every great organization depends on the collaborative efforts of its members. Adult Alternative Home Care is expanding and taking on new territories with the combined efforts of its team. The month of May presents us the opportunity to introduce our staff since this month recognizes public service workers and nurses. The week of May 5th through May 11th is public service week. The week of May 6th through May 12th is also national nurses week. Our team consists of nurses, administrative personnel, a community liaison, support staff and field staff that makes all operations successful.
In August 2023, Adult Alternative Home Care added Home Health Aide training and licensure services. As of the first quarter of 2024, we have been able to expand engagement and enrollment to Spanish and Creole speaking students through the assistance of two of our Certified Home Health Aides who are bilingual in Spanish and French-Creole. The support of these CHHAs have been a great success for the organization.
In March 2024, we added a Registered Nurse Field Supervisor who is consistently following up, monitoring client care and supervising personnel work. This consistency will strengthen our case monitoring process and the overall care experience for those we serve. In March 2024, a community liaison also joined the team to heighten our community outreach efforts and strengthen partnerships with key members of the communities we serve.
